Brain is throwing everything at me to try to make this situation less stressful but it isn't working?? Maybe it is idk, I just want to take a nap honestly. We told our partner that we struggled to see why they dont just cut their mom off and that it was tough to be soft about the situation bc its just upsetting. They then proceeded to not respond for a long while and then responded to our apology with an "its okay" and then still hasnt said anything else. I dont know what I can do for them because I dont know what they're feeling. I have calmed down and I think I can handle it better now but I dont know how to communicate that. I guess ultimately its not my problem and there is nothing I can do but I feel like I've abandoned them? Even tho they arent responding. Idk. Talking it out here just now makes me feel a little better & like this will all pass. But idk! Is weird
