805) A few months after coming out to my parents, my mom said a really offensive joke about gay people. I exploded on her, and ever since Ive been having these panic attacks. I cry in my room, pushing my face into the pillow to silence the sobs. I dont want to worry my sister or dad, and I know my mom would make fun of me if I told her about the attacks. I love my mom, and that's why it hurts so much to know that she wouldnt take it seriously. Just by writing this^ one is starting, God Im pathetic.

766) Sometimes, I just feel like...what if I didn't exist? What if I didn't have to sit and watch my family make fun of cutters, and say "thank god my daughter isn't lesbian". I used to cut, and I am a pansexual trans boy... none of those are a joke... :(

399) I dissociated all day because I was tired and thinking about my orientation and the pression of being in the closet too much, and I don't know why it had to be that day in particular, but everyone around me said a lot of homophobic and biphobic things (like way more than usual) and I was already dissociating because of my orientation and each remark made me want to disappear a little more

396) The first person I came out to was my crush via text because I didn’t understand what I was feeling. She called the police because she felt “threatened.” I never got to come out to my family and I have a panic attack anyone even sorta outs me in public.

349) When I came out, first as bi then as pan, my mom invalidated me and my sexuality telling me that it's not real, now I have to constantly reassure my self of my identification, other wise I feel like I am and have been faking it.

167) Today at school, a girl passed me a note. I opened it up and it said “Do you think being LGBT+ is okay?” Below tht there were 2 colums, one where people who thought yes then they would put a talley mark and them there was a column for people who thought no to put a talley mark. I obviously put my talley under yes because I’m pansexual and support my community. But then I looked at how many no’s there was. I counted them. 34 no’s and 5 yes’s. I was planning on coming out to my school but if tht is the amount of people who think badly about it then I don’t want to anymore…

58) I am sick and tired of the straight people at my north Texas school seeing any LGBTQ+ people as less than humans! They talk about us and categorize us like we are exhibits at a zoo, they lie about supporting us just for the sake of sharpening their own reputation, and to top it all off, some confederate flag bearer bitches ambushed a GSA (Gay Straight Alliance) meeting with water guns screaming “THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU THE POWER OF CHRIST COMPELS YOU!” So when people are wondering why I’m still fighting for the LGBTQ+ community even after we gained the right to marry…here’s why.
