So, MLP Draconequus AU. Twilight invites two of the oldest people she knows over. Discord and Luna.
Are they giving each other the stink eye every time Twilight turns around, or communicating solely through eye contact about "If you dare make her cry I will turn evil again just to rip out your entrails"?
you two idiots have the rest of eternity to shoot your shot, now stop almost spoiling Twilight's first teaparty
Since the Canada griffin was proudly mentioned recently I figure it can’t hurt to ask if you do happen to have plans to design Canada griffin goslings at some point in the future? (muse permitting)
I DO NOW.
I present to you
honklings
Being Shens cute little (house) wife and bringing baked goods to the ED every time he is on duty without fail. Just wanting to support him in any way possible and if that means giving a yummy, homemade moral boost to the entire ED night shift, then by God will they get one.
Or this can go for any of the Pitt Doctors because I would happily dote on any of them
Companion Piece
Warnings: Fluff. That's it, that's the warning.
"Ooh, what've we got today, Mrs. Shen?"
"Lemon bars."
"Again?" Ellis' groan is undercut by Lena's, "Yes!"
"Lena asked for them. You know everyone gets what they request for their birthday," You shrug, leaning against the nurse's station. "But I brought some rainbow cookies there, too. New recipe—so I need feedback."
"Then you have come to the right place," Abbot rounds the counter, "This is a teaching hospital, after all."
"Thank you kindly, Jack," You chuckle before glancing around, "Where's John?"
"Wrapping up with a gallbladder attack in south 2."
"Okay! I'll drop these in the staff room and get out of your hair."
frankies first impression of sinner? (and vise versa?)
[OC] the first time frankie saw sinner was in a seedy bar where sinner was playing with her old band. I've always pictured her former bandmates as these stereotypical douchebags who think they're led zeppelin 2.0 but have half the talent. sinner doesn't like them either, but it's the only gig she could find and it pays the bills so (in her own words) it's whatever.
(sinner's first impression of frankie would be something like "why is that hottie looking at me like i owe her money- wait do i owe her money? mn no i don't think so i would remember that face" and then "wait she's walking towards me quick act all cool and unbothered")
you think you’re so fucking special bc your dad loves you
actually that is what dads are supposed to do
what if remus kisses sirius haha how weird would that be
this is such a weirdly specific ask and the details are honestly so small i won’t mind if u ignore this ask/just can’t provide an answer entirely but i was wondering what kind of armor the middle avatar in that earth avatar mural that lights up when aang first goes into the avatar state is wearing? if u know what im talking about?? if not its no bother tysm!!
Cultural Fashion: Earth Avatar Mural Woman
Let me just say that this is my favorite piece of in-universe art in Avatar. I love everything about it: The color palette, the symbolism of Kyoshi standing on two pillars of earth, the two earth avatars in the background doing their best JoJo poses, and the mystique of it all. Kyoshi is an Avatar who literally split open the earth to create an island named after her and lived to be over 200 years old, but somehow she's not the star of this mural? Just what the heck did the center lady do to be depicted as being akin to the sun itself?
Anyways, she looks to be wearing Qin Dynasty (221–206 BCE) lamellar armor. Lamellar armor is armor that's composed of overlapping plates of metal, leather, or bone that give the wearer a "scaly" look. The spaulders resembling a little shawl or capelet reminds me the most of Qin armor, the dynasty that gave us the terracotta warrior statues. Qin Dynasty warriors also wore dress-like robes and tucked-in scarves around the neck under their armor. Finally, she's wearing a little topknot crown, known in Chinese as a guan (冠) or xiaoguan (小冠). Pretty much the only aspect of her design that strays from the terracotta warrior inspiration is her lack of boots, as she opts to go barefoot to better earthbend.
The Qin Dynasty was China's first imperial dynasty. Perhaps the center lady is the first ever earth avatar? It would explain why she looks to be shining rays of light on all her "successors". Plus, there's sort of a running theme in ATLA of revolutionary earthbenders being women: Oma, Kyoshi, and Toph.
I guess you could call them all... Mother Earth.
