“Move away from the door and let me at him.”
She was angry and frustrated, tired of him speaking and acting out the same way over and over. It felt like it honestly didn’t matter how many times she tried to convince him otherwise. She was finally going to give him the full brunt of the thoughts that constantly floated through her mind. Yet there the Yuke stood in her way.
“It’s not alright that he does this! Why do you stand in the way?!”
Yes, why? Aerith held her friend in the highest of regards. She just couldn’t fathom the reason she would block her path like this.
The response that seethed from the woman's lips was cold and monotone as she stood resolute, posture spread out to cover the exit from as many angles as possible. Despite the situation her body seemed to never tense even as her eyes focused on the Cetra's own, watching for any sudden moves the other might pull.
"Because allowing you to walk out there as you are now will fix nothing. I know it must be infuriating, yes - but you need to compose yourself. Stop. Think."
Despite never having seen Aerith truly lose her temper, the Yuke had heard and silently observed the slow buildup of anger in her friend only moments before. It was a natural instinct to take action against someone wronging you, certainly. But to watch the ever kindly flower girl's disposition wither and slip away seemed like such a waste on this petty matter.
Aerith was better than this, she just wasn't thinking clearly.
"To start a confrontation in your current state would be idiocy, on some level you must realize that. Why do you let him get to you like this?"
