Front checking when you've got that do- well, cat in you.
As in like what I wanna do with my life, where I wanna go, who I wanna be with. I used to know, but the past few years everything has just blown up in my face and I no longer know what I want or need or what to do... -stripes
Hi love,
You sound exactly like me. It sounds like you’re a planner who likes to have things under control. You like to have your future planned out, and uncertainty scares you. But unfortunately life rarely goes according to plan. Life often throws us curve balls when least expect it and throws everything off balance. For people like you and me, that can be really hard to deal with.
But I want you to know that it’s okay to not know. It’s okay to not have a plan. It’s okay to not know what you want to do with your life, where you want to go, etc. A lot of these things will fall into place on their own, despite you not knowing. So many people have been in your exact same shoes. In fact, I’d say that about 95% of people have no idea what they want to do, where they want to go, who they want to be with, etc. And they end up okay... so will you! :)
Also, it’s rare that these kinds of things stay the same for very long. We humans are constantly changing. You’re not the same person you were five years ago, and you won’t be the same person you are now in another five years! So what you want now might be completely different in a few years, and that’s 100% okay. It’s okay to change your mind. You don’t have to pick a career and stick with it for the rest of your life. You can change your mind as many times as you want to! Same with where you want to go. You can chose to live in one place, then if you don’t like it there, move to another place. You can choose to live in one place for ten years then decide you want to move. The possibilities are endless and the world is your oyster :)

I really wish I could figure myself out. It feels so hopeless and directionless and I get so disheartened by the idea of trying to figure things out and I often feel like I'd rather die than face all of this.. -stripes
Hi love,
Can I ask you to clarify what you mean by figure yourself out? If you could explain it to me a bit more, I think I’d be able to give you better advice :)
