“What are you working on, Bobby? It looks complex.”
@faiththesinfulslayer, continued from here.
Suspicious soft fawn eyes bore into the man in front of Faith as he attempted to hand one of her stakes back to her. Her Slayer sense was going Cuckoo for Coco Puffs, but there was no way the dude in the trench coat was giving off vamp vibes.
No. He was some other type of monster.
Not making any attempt to retrieve the fallen weapon, Faith inclines her head slight at the other.
“Yeah, I might have. What? You just go around picking up things strangers drop or something? What’s your deal? You just a Boy Scout or were you looking for an excuse to talk to me and couldn’t think up a better opening line?”
It would not be the first time someone thought of him as a monster; Castiel had mostly come to either own the label -- when it came from his kin -- or at least accept that it was a product of ignorance, rather than cruelty.
Nonetheless, his eyebrows drew together as she refused to take the wooden stake she had dropped; instead, he flipped it gracefully once in hand and caught it again, before letting said hand come down to his side. “Ah-- I was watching your hunting and thought I would give it back to you,” he said, guilelessly. “If you don’t want it, that’s fine.”
Hunters were a suspicious lot, by nature; it wasn’t really a shock that she would view him as a potential threat. “If you’d rather I leave, I can.”
@ivory-paragon liked your post: “like or comment for a starter with elena! kh muses and ffxv muses...”
Elena wasn’t sure how she felt about Rufus.
She didn’t know everything about what had happened with Avalanche, but there were rumours that he’d been involved with them as a means of ousting his father.
But he was the President of Shinra, now, and she was a Turk, however involuntary. How she felt about it didn’t matter.
“You needed me, sir?”
Jess: "Slap my hand."
Ravio tilted his head quizzically at the request.
“Hold on there buddy, you want me to do what now??” Slap their hand? Surely he had heard wrong...
FINALLY || Return and Responses Due || File 0046
I'm back! And I do apologize for the severe delay.
Unfortunately, I will be returning to work tomorrow, but I am granted a half day. Through the time provided, I shall attempt to respond to all that I owe in an orderly manner. Messages will be attended to upon completing all current drafts. I'd much rather tend to those that have waited for a response prior to drawing my attention to the newer story lines.
I plan on finishing everything regarding drafts (hopefully) by the end of the week..
… … …
Regards
{dothackerblackrose} Down Time
He sighed and pushed his bangs back, looking around the familiar location.
The Chaos Gate in Mac Anu was an area Balmung was well-versed in, but it's undergone some serious changes in how it appears to him. For instance, the graphics have improved farther than he could've imagined, and there were far more players than he remembered gathering around the square. Everyone looked so different; some players were new, some were veterans.
Glancing off in the distance, he began walking away from the Gate instead of towards it, in lieu of visiting the bridge instead. It was just as large an icon as the main square to everyone online, a symbol of unity.
He was thinking too deeply again, he had to quit doing that after so many hours of being online. Besides, Balmung had a job to attend to, and it didn't require observing the scenery.
Just as he was beginning to walk away, a familiar face caught his eye.
Luce had been singing songs and walking around the Nursery with Shiloh in his arms. Apparently teething sucks, even when you have your own little pool of angelic grace. He'd been thinking about their little family and a thought hit him. Hard.
Tomorrow was Nel's birthday.
Soothing their daughter as quickly as he could he pulled out his phone and dialed Arma's number, She'd know what Nel would want to do.
