you probably already know this but time in wishverse is a sort of Tree, in that it is based in some sequence of inalterable events that eventually come to branch, increasing in number and density exponentially as both more sentient being come into decisions, and decisionmaking becomes more complex and begin to come in greater numbers. the “present” is composed of what i like to call the temporal canopy, where active decisionmaking happens and the tree is most dense. the past may still grow branches from backjumps but for the most part growth happens at the canopy. you might notice that there is no place for future on this tree, and that’s because the future is fake. it can be instantiated through certain techniques, by “betting” on a certain outcome and attempting to jump to an eventuality where it happens. it’s a useful, difficult, and risky trick. it’s discoveries like these that back up my rank as a spacetime wizard.
