ALSO make sure you buy yourself tinned food, pre-packaged food, frozen food etc for days when you Can't Bring Yourself To Cook. and make sure you have at least some snacks available, even if it's just biscuits for tea or w/e. Aldi/Lidl do Digestives for like 30p.

That’s why I got myself soup, I also have like 3-minute noodles that mum got me while I was at my aunts bc y’know, merry christmas and all that, so I’m gonna take them with me, and get more at Lidl bc, well, Lidl, ready meals I didn’t think of, I’ll add those, thank you!! I’ll add snacky things too, but yeah, I’m??? Buzzy excited/nervous about it now, bc it just feels so close

ACTUALLY £30 sounds about right. Once you get used to living alone etc and let yourself indulge a little, you'll probably spend maybe £50 a month? I started off with an allowance of £15 per week, but now I shop like twice a month and I only spend about £20 because my cupboards are already p well stocked. ANYWAY THOUGH TRUST ME £200 IS ABSOLUTELY UNNECESSARY and from what I remember when I was trying to work it out at the start, £100-£150 is about the average per month for most people anyway. <3

Yeah most of that is gonna last me more than a month??? Like the milk??? I’m not gonna drink 6L of milk in a month but that shit’s gonna last a long time bc it’s the cupboard milk, and that was like, mainly building up a little stock of shit, like the all purpose cleaner and shit, I’m not gonna eat 6 pizzas in a month, nor am I gonna eat 8 cans of soup an month, but I’ve got that shit there just in case
