i know that contradicts the tags of the post i just made but gods i love ztd. THE FIRST CHOICE IS ALWAYS RIGHT THE FIRST TIME - just so the EXISTENCE of the exit timeline is guaranteed! i fucking love this little bit of cleverness.

also paaretnly the intent was to make characters tyhat were neither good nor evil and hat was indeed mostlyfailed BUT THE CHOICES WE MAKE THE CHOICES THAT LEAD TO THE FINAL ENDINGS!!!

also all i wanted from a vlr sequel was for someone to have to watch phi and sigma’s bickering and fondess AND OH BOY DID I GET THAT. i also got! akane and junpei reuniting! carlos being a shipper on deck and somehow becoming a part of that relationship! (as far as i’m concerned that’s canon shut up)

that absolutely makes the whole non sense of yeah sigma-and-diana-arestuck-together-and-get-kids more palatable BECAUSE I REALLY DON4T LIKE THAT PLOTLINE

like i like phi and sigma being actual family? and i love diana enough to accept her as part of that family? but. :/// it didn’t actually work for me PLEASE LET ME HAVE FOUND FAMILY THAT IS NOT ACTUALLY BLOOD RELATED

i do find the whole we’re-amnesiac-so-we-don’t-know-where/when-we-are (also-did-weèjump-timelines - WELL I’M THE PLAYER AND IN A WAY THE POV CHARACTER SO MAYBE YOU DID! I JUST SAW JUNPEI’S HEAD AND NOW YOU’RE ARGUING OVER WHAT DIANA VOTED SO WHO KNOWS) being represented by fragments that you don’t know WHERE fit on the timeline until you play them through - i know some players found the jumping around confusing but i don’t know. kinda liked it? the cleverness of it if not the execution.

ALSO DID I MENTION I LOVE EVERY ONE OF THOSE TRASHFIRES. AKANE BEING AKANE AND WIPING JUNPEI’S MEMORIES IN ORDER TO MAKE HER PLANS. CARLOS HAVING TO WITNESS THAT AFTER WAITING MONTHS FOR THEM. DIANA RELEASING RAD6 TO SAVE HER LOVED ONES. SIGMA BULLSHITTING ‘I HAVE NEVER FELT UNCONDITIONAL LOVE UNTIL I HELD THOSE BABIES IN MY AMRS4 BULLSHIT YOU’VE BEEN CHOOSING PHI’S LIFE OVER YOURS ALL GAME YOU IDIOT. THE ETERNAL UNENDING UNBELIEVABLY SHITTY MESS THAT IS TEAM Q. ERIC!!!! ERIC!!!! SUCH A MESS!!!!! MIRA!!!!!
