The best way I can think to describe my autism is with Animorphs 😭
Like Ax isn't human but he has to blend in and be one, he has to learn this very complicated alien culture and all the things that are and aren't acceptable, and he has to be taught how to be human.
That's autism to me, it's like I was just put here with all these damn complicated humans and I have to try and learn how to act like one as I go, but people can tell I don't exactly have it all memorized. They see some weird ass kid and they think what's his problem but I'm fr like a human student, I'm learning as I go and I'm getting better and understanding more but it just never has and never will come naturally to me like it seems to others.
