1. A book that a certain friend is always telling you to read
My friend has been trying to get me to read more Sci-Fi, but only because I’ve made her watch animated films. The list includes Dune, 1984, Fahrenheit 451 and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.
2: A book that’s been on your TBR forever but you still haven’t picked it up yet.
... 1984 as well. I tried reading it once! But I got distracted by exams.
3: A book in a series you’ve started but haven’t finished yet.
Monster, by Michael Grant. Which is weird - it’s a sequel to the Gone series, which is one of my all-time favourites. But I can’t get myself to get through Monster, or any that follow. Maybe because my favourite character is dead so what’s the point yo
4: A classic you’ve always liked the sound of, but have never actually read.
I have two (2) classics on my shelf that are waiting to be read, but I haven’t got round to yet - 1984 and Fahrenheit 451.
5: A popular book that it seems everyone but you have read.
For the longest time, this was the Chaos Walking series, but I read it now. Divergent? I never read all of the series. Got too... love-triangle-y.
6: A book that inspired a film/tv adaptation you love that you just haven’t read yet.
Ready Player One. I’ve heard the film is ehhhh alright? But I love the book too much to watch.
7: A book you’ve seen all over Instagram/Tumblr/other but you haven’t picked up yet.
Any comic ever written. I’ll go for Umbrella Academy - my sister owns the first two volumes, so I’ve read them, but I don’t own it personally.
