bc i am apparently UNABLE to SHUT UP about my RELATIONSHIP: perhaps the most significant breakthrough to date (at least in terms of my feelings about the whole thing) occurred last night

we napped for like 3 hrs yesterday evening bc we went to early happy hour and got a little tipsy and then were both SO FUCKIN SLEEPY so anyway we woke up at like 9pm ish and were like “well fuck what are we gonna do” so i said we should go on an adventure and he was like “ok yeah absolutely”....he realized he was out of peanut butter (which he needs for his dog the boy) and i was kinda hungry so we ended up going to the grocery store and one thing led to another so we ended up buying some produce to smash out of anger in an empty lot as one does (?)

so anyway we drive around for a bit looking for an appropriate place to do this (ie somewhere nondestructive) and eventually find a good bit of pavement/abandoned wall. he is naturally more angry than i am and a tad tipsy (i was driving do not worry) so he was trying to hype me up and trying to get me into it and anyway at some point he brings up like....being a woman in the world????? not that he’s WRONG but it was so alarmingly spot on and so utterly NOT something i thought he had any awareness of and he was like “fuckin tap into it” and i’m like......bitch.........what am i supposed to do with THIS.......

#.....................yeah #he thinks he's an ASSHOLE #bc he doesn't give a fuck #and he says what he thinks and doesn't self censor #which i guess is assholeish in some ways but i think he conflates it with being a bad person and it's totally not the same #i self censor TOO much so like......he balances me out a little #personal #s
