Abraham Quintanilla is setting the record straight in an autobiography to be released later this year that chronicles his life, and that of his late daughter Selena.
The book is being recorded and documented by Nancy De Los Santos, a co-producer of the 1997 film Selena, according to Tejano Nation.
ON HOUSTONCHRONICLE.COM: Selena's family and fans celebrate her legacy at RodeoHouston Star Trail of Fame ceremony
"Today I finally finished the last chapter of my book that I have been writing for the last few months,” Quintanilla shared via social media on Feb. 27. “Since my daughter Selena died, I was wanting to write a book.”
Quintanilla goes on to share in his Facebook post that "the public might not be aware that there are about 21 unauthorized books written about Selena and none of the writers ever interviewed Selena. And I feel that the most ugly book was written by Telemundo's Maria Celeste Ararras"
He further goes on to elaborate in regards to Ararras that "the woman for reasons which I can't understand took sides with the woman who killed Selena. My family and I and Chris Perez know exactly what happened, as l mentioned none of the writers or even Maria Celeste ever interviewed Selena."
According to a Facebook post by Latin Groove Music, the book "is filled with hope, triumph, heartbreak, tragedy, and undying love. We will get to hear the complete story about Abraham Quintanilla, Los Dinos, Selena Y Los Dinos, and all the events that brought us to today, when we celebrate the life and the legacy of the beautiful and forever loved, Selena Quintanilla.”
There is no release date set for Quintanilla's autobiography, only that we can expect to see it out later this year. This year also marks the 25th Anniversary of Selena's death as her legacy and music have continued to live on in the hearts of fans across the world.

rereading the old spiderwoman docs is kind of a crazy experience because it'll go from like borderline suicidal shit to like wacky adventures with absolutely no warning because i would just shit out random scenes and it wasn't an actual story just like a series of vignettes
not me getting my period on the strawberry moon nights
and then not me googling that and discovering a metaphysical store nearby is named that
my old friends cousin's first kiss was max from the wanted lmao
