good evening tonight i am once again thinking about the fact that you can pretty much directly connect choked out and heel turn 2 through the parallels of "Most of the boys / Won't ever cross this line / If they all want to die dead broke that's fine, that's fine / Everybody's got their limits / Nobody's found mine" and "Drift down into the new, dark light / Without any reservations / You found my breaking point / Congratulations" and how choked out is about being in the titular choke hold to the point where one legitimately passes out and how the narrator has not only made a gimmick out of being pushed to their limits physically to the point where it worries the audience & ringside nurse but by embracing it not only publically in their persona but quite possibly in their personal mind and justifying it by saying "oh, i'm the strongest, this is what i do, this is my Thing, this is what earns me the money, i don't need limits and i don't even enjoy having them, i wanna see how far you can make me go" and how heel turn 2 is about the narrator being fed up because at some point between the two songs people managed to find the narrator's limits and the narrator realized that they have limits and they don't need to justify being the guy who gets hit to themselves if they stop being the guy that gets hit. basically the narrator of choked out repeatedly tells you they're blacking out and disappearing into the darkness and they're enjoying it, actually, that this is just what they do and it suits them just fine, and heel turn 2 says okay. well. maybe i was wrong. i'm down here in the dark now and i didn't like being pushed to my limits and i don't need the money or the gimmick anymore so to hell with it, i'm gonna show you what i can do now to make sure you know that you can't do that to me anymore.
