hate to rush this but im v frustrated rn so heres an epilogue upd8 from yours truly: Meat was fantastic? Not as a whole, but like on a moment-to-moment basis I genuinely really enjoyed it! Loved Ultimate Dirk and the controlled narrative deal. Loved the davekat. Just loved the way it was written in general. It had a couple of weird/bad/ooc moments and the ending sucked but otherwise it was a pretty damn enjoyable experience all things considered. Candy however??? Makes me want to projectile vomit. And I get how that was kinda the whole purpose of the meat/candy split with meat being heavy but filling and candy being nauseatingly sweet - which is pretty genius honestly - but man Candy is so bad it’s making me want to stop reading altogether even though I’m only on chapter 12. And I’m one of those people that thinks leaving stuff unfinished is literal torture so thats a Very big tell
