I'm so sorry, but I cannot stop thinking about Gojo turning into a cat and getting picked up by some random civilian.
curse-users always up with creative tactics to try to kill him. This newest one, however...he never expected to suddenly lose his power as well as his human body. Now he's trapped in a feline body right in the middle of Tokyo.
Meanwhile, you run into the cutest little kitten you've ever seen in your entire life. It stares up at you with the prettiest blue eyes and the cutest pink nose. When you pick it up, its white fur is soft to the touch. You can't help but whisk it home.
In the beginning, Gojo isn't too pleased about being adopted by a stranger, but you're just so sweet and coddling to him. You brush his fur. You hand-feed him lots of yummy meat when he refuses stinky cat food. You let him sleep in your bed. Your voice is so soft and loving. He doesn't like the name you gave him ('snowball', of course), but the way you say 'there's my sweet boy' really does something to him.
He knows he should figure out a way to escape your home and reenter jujutsu society, but...he just can't bring himself to. You practically pamper and dote on him 24/7. Why would he want to leave?
(somewhere else, jujutsu society is burning itself to the ground becuause the strongest sorcerer alive just disappeared for a few weeks and nobody knows where he went)
Eventually, the curse wears off. It happens a few hours after you leave for work. Thankfully, Gojo isn't stuck explaining what a naked man is doing right where your cat should be.
That day, you come home to an empty house and an open window.
You're a mess for days, constantly beating yourself up for leaving the window open. Snowball was always so good about staying put, but an animal is an animal. He's probably out there alone and afraid and probably hurt, and it's all your fault.
You put up missing posters everywhere you can. You call every shelter in town. You look so pitiful that even a stranger has to stop and ask if you're doing ok.
The stranger is actually a really nice guy. he joins the search for your cat. When the search ends in failure, he offers his number as a way to stay in touch. Weeks pass, and you and the man grow closer and closer. Snowball remains missing. He lets you cry on his shoulder on particularly rough days, soothing you and saying comforting things. You'd never say it out loud, but it's a bit uncanny how similar this man looks to your missing cat. They even act the same. Snowball was never a fan of men, but you had a feeling he would've liked this one.
Years later, you never forget Snowball. You're grateful to him. Thanks to your cat, you met your husband.
