Dom Will Headcanons ... ★

[ general disclosure ... this post is about my personal opinions and headcanons for Will as a dom! as always, trigger warning for my posts. if you wish to still look at my posts but don't want to see anything heavy, block the tag "#...hidden room!". i am open to hearing about other ideas and headcanons from others but please be respectful! all ideas on this post and my blog are open to being written about, but please @ me so I can see it <3 ]

« his preferences »

— blood ; any inclusion of blood during sex. he prefers to make Hannibal bleed, but he isn't against bleeding himself or having sex when covered in another person's blood.

— pain ; he likes to push Hannibal's limits by hurting him during sex. yet, if Hannibal asks for pain, he will stop and make the absence another form of pain. if Hannibal is good enough, he'll give him what he wants and hurt him in the way Hannibal asks.

— begging ; he likes making Hannibal break his resolve and drop his "person suit" per se and have him so desperate that he begins to beg. if it sounds half assed to him, he'll have Hannibal continue until it sounds good enough, then he will "indulge" Hannibal.

— names ; while he does enjoy being called "sir" and "professor" on occasion, he likes it best when all Hannibal can say is his name. he tends to call Hannibal "darling" when he's mocking him, yet when he gets into it, he calls Hannibal "baby" without realizing it. he denies it when Hannibal points it out later.

— marking ; he likes to leave marks on Hannibal, both temporary and permanent. he likes having proof of his ownership of Hannibal and the way that only he can see the man as he is.

— degradation / praise ; he goes back and forth between degrading Hannibal and calling him a good boy and praising him for being so obedient and letting Will rough him up.

— primal / fear ; one of his biggest likes is being able to use Hannibal after a hunt (while he is still riding the high of the hunt). he likes knowing that he can use such a feared man however he wants and could potentially kill him should he choose to.

« fic ideas »

— idea one ; instead of Will walking away from the kitchen in s02e07, he decides to fuck Hannibal. definitely dubcon. he points his gun at Hannibal as he makes him submit and Will realizes that having this power over Hannibal and his life turns him on way too much. Will makes Hannibal suck him off while holding the gun to his head, simultaneously degrading Hannibal for letting him do this. it can go many ways from there.

— idea two ; starts after the end of s02e08 where Will fails to kill the social worker (yes, i know the social worker's name. no, i won't use it.). after they do their weird sexually charged eye contact thing, Will snaps and points the gun at Hannibal. they fuck. i don't have a lot of ideas for this one to be honest, so this will be expanded upon on a different post.

— idea three ; immediately after s02e09, after bringing Randall's body to Hannibal, they have a similar conversation as in canon, except, Hannibal asks if Will wants to compare the feeling of beating Randall to death with the real thing (beating him up). Will thinks about the euphoria that killing Randall brought him and instead of responding verbally punches Hannibal in the face. he proceeds to beat him up, straddling him like he did Randall. except, this time, Will finds that he's aroused and was subconsciously grinding against Hannibal while beating him.

Sub Hannibal Headcanons ... ★

— blood ; unlike Will, he prefers to be the one bleeding or to see Will covered in another's blood. he finds it displeasing for Will to bleed. feeling as Will makes him bleed and consumes his blood makes him feel utterly consumed by his husband, in every way.

— names ; he loves to call Will anything, whether it be his usual terms of endearment or honorifics used specifically for sex. he does prefer to use Will's name above all, particularly seeing the affect it has on Will. when Will calls him "darling" as a form of mocking, it does arouse him, mostly out of humiliation due to how it's said and used. he tends to slip on his control when Will says "baby", although that tends to only happen when Will is lost in pleasure and at that point Hannibal is already far gone.

— free use ; he likes the idea of Will owning him completely, just as he owns Will, thus he leaves himself available at all times for Will to use if so chooses.

— marking ; he likes being covered in Will's marks. he also enjoys leaving some of his own, to see their mutual ownership of each other in physical form.

— worship ; he tends to focus on worshipping Will's body and forgoing his own pleasure in favor of pleasing his husband. usually this is presented through his free use and also oral worship.

— primal / fear ; he finds great joy and arousal at seeing Will strung up on adrenaline after a hunt and the way it makes him more rough and ruthless in their sex. he likes seeing the blood of their victims smeared against Will as he bites and ruts at him. he allows himself to feel fear for the one person who holds power over his own life. that fear is exhilirating.

— forced submission ; seeing Will be rough and dominant is something Hannibal takes pleasure in (even outside of sex), so he feigns control to force Will to put him in his place and make him submit. while he enjoys submitting and will gladly do so, he finds it entertaining to make Will earn it.

— idea one ; any timeline, Will is stressed out and needs a way to get his frustration out. Hannibal suggests using his body as a form of stress relief. Will decides on making Hannibal suck him off. Hannibal finds himself consumed by his need to aid Will and to be at his mercy that he forces himself to choke on Will to urge WIll to take action. Hannibal ends up getting his face fucked roughly. when Will finishes, Hannibal has already climaxed untouched.

— idea two ; in s03e06, omegaverse au, when they reunite in the gallery, Hannibal has been off his suppressants and the scent of Will has made him enter his heat. it causes Will to lose his bearings (likely entering a more primal/feral state due to being around Hannibal in heat plus having recognized Hannibal as his mate a long time ago). Will whisks him away from the gallery so no one can witness Hannibal's submission besides himself and makes his claim on him.

— idea three ; season 1 omegaverse au, Hannibal has never experienced many of the usual omegan instincts to submit or crave an alpha, yet when he meets Will in Jack's office, his instincts scream at him to be a good omega for him. i will expand on this one later :P

Thinking about writing angry drunk Will who fucks Hannibal rough and hard when he drinks too much and Hannibal is too in love with Will and all of his darker aspects to try and fight against it.

It's the painful type of sex that only pleases Will physically yet strokes some deep down emotional pleasure in Hannibal.

I will link this back to Hannibal's worship of Will as if he were his god later. Too lazy to type out an essay on this atm but I needed to share my vision.

Ooo, I'm definitely down with this idea!!

While it isn't in my top favs, it is definitely something I would be interested enough to read about!

I've actually came across a crack fic (i believe it was at least) where Will gave Hannibal a lobotomy, which did interest me but i never ended up reading it-

I think there's lots of potential with it though!

One of my fav things is power imbalances and dom/sub, and this definitely explored power imbalances and forces a dom/sub dynamic in the sense of caretaker/pet!

Plus medical malpractice is always tasty! The show had so much and people need to embrace it more!

Also, mildly off topic, but I think dub-con medical malpractice is always a good trope to explore with Hannibal and Will.
