While I agree that his golf outfit is rather hideous (just the shirt, though, the pants are nice & fit well), I kinda love the fact that he doesn't feel the need to look put together every time he leaves the house. There's something comforting about the idea of him simply grabbing the first old & well worn collared shirt he sees instead of buying something new/more stylish. It's like he's fully committed to being Harry No-Style during his downtime vs Harry Styles™️ and I respect that even when his clothing choices make me grimace.
I don't think this is a case of him grabbing the closest old & well-worn shirt...it looks deliberate to me. And those hideous pants are A Choice. Nobody casually or accidentally wears clothes that awful - he's indulging his Inner Golf Dad and revelling in it. I feel like he's embracing awful golf-wear to deliberately provoke me. Yes - me personally.
