Out of curiosity, what are your thoughts on Fire Emblem Fates? (This may have been asked before, I don't remember. Sorry!)

Personally, I don’t have much of an opinion on Fates ‘cause I haven’t played it. I avoid forming concrete opinions on games until I’ve actually experienced them myself. For me that not only makes experiencing the game more fun, but also gives me the most ‘genuine’ experience with the game…if that makes sense.

That being said, it’s impossible for me to stay entirely neutral on a new entry in a series I’ve been following - after all, I have to form some sort of opinion to determine if I want to bother buying the game or not. All I can really tell you is from what little I’ve seen of the game, it doesn’t interest me enough to buy it. I may buy it if/when it gets a price drop, but if that point never comes and I never get it, I don’t think I’ll be too torn up about it.

I do concretely think the blatant cash-grabbing with the 2 separate games and 3rd DLC route is kinda shitty though.
