It cuts me up to think that Taylor, even for a second, thought this album wouldn’t do well because of the stupid #taylorisover shit from last year. Like, I know how much it hurts to have ONE person against you, and I can’t imagine what it’s like to have literally thousands of blank faces pointing fingers and making assumptions. I can only imagine what that would do to her psyche - she is human, after all.
It hurts me to imagine she didn’t feel loved, or that she cried over this, or that she maybe thought of leaving -- I hate it so much.
I just hope that she truly didn’t, in her heart of hearts, believe that we wouldn’t do everything in our power to welcome her back, and do our damnedest to make reputation #1.
@taylorswift , if I may speak for the majority, we love you so much, and we are so proud of you. You have been through so much - both in front of and behind the scenes - and we are so happy you’re back. You look like you’re the best you’ve ever been, and we are so thankful you came back when you were ready.
I hope you’re feeling better now, and that you’re proud of yourself. You’ve done an amazing thing this week. This year. So many records, smashed. So many people finally recognising your talent - finally.
