Seeing his friend’s face light up in a bright red was confusing but just as amusing. So amusing that he found himself chuckling at the scene. It was not ill intended, but more impulsive and quick to subside. The reason he erupted in cachinnation was due to Oswald’s words. It was almost painful for Edward to stop laughing at what he assumes is the other’s befuddlement.
❝I see. Well, good news! I’d take up that offer anytime.❞
Noting the change in mood, at last, Edward looked around wondering what was catching Oswald’s attention. Seeing nothing out of the norm he let his mind think of what his friend was doing. Immediately he was hearing the suggestion that his presence was not welcomed and he should go.
