Poem for Dad
//This is a poem that I wrote for my dad for Father’s Day. Decided to share it since I can’t really give it to him today, though hopefully I can soon. X
Summer's rolling around again There's been June sun and June rain Thunderstorms and birthdays Hasn't been easy, hasn't be fun But there's still the sun And I may not be your son but I am your daughter And you are my father And that's more than enough Even if the days have been tough Even if the thunder takes miles and miles Of lightning and time and files It's only just June Just barely the full moon We've got time and blood in our veins All throughout the rains And there's still the sun And I may not be your son but I am your daughter And you are my father And that's more than enough And I still love you, Father.
