Just saw the word nepotism and it reminded me a few days ago I got agitated because people were commenting that James Pokemon was a nepo baby on a post about him. like ok yes he does in fact have rich parents but isn't the whole thing about nepotism is it's using your rich parents' wealth and influence to your own benefit....? James kinda notably ran away as a child to get away from his parents . and in the episode where they returned him home he definitively did not want to be there, not even for the money. did you guys even watch Holy Matrimony! did you forget James would rather live as a broke criminal with his friends than live with his controlling parents and the woman they arranged for him to marry since he was a child who has her pokemon attack him with stun spore. and tried to literally, with a whip, whip him back into shape . not exactly a nepotism situation I would say.
