 You know what's funny? When you try to be always there for everyone. But at the very end of the day, when you're left all alone, the saying that when you help someone, you'll get something back.. It's not true.

 They're only grateful at first, then at the very end, you'll fade. They'll act like you didn't help them-- like as if they survived on their own.

 People are selfish, no matter how much you show them generosity and genuine feelings. People are selfish no matter how much you show care for them..

 People are selfish.. I'm a person myself, but do I consider myself selfish? Maybe.. 

 You see a lot of people wanting to socialize, and you do it-- you respond to them, because even when you're feeling kind, it's not enough. But when it's your turn, no one says anything, therefore, it's called selfishness.
