peace didn’t last for the couple long, no matter how hard xaire would push for it to. he tried to stick to his promises, he gave up all his vices and finally put action behind the words he’d been feeding her for years. yet all it took was an unknown number hitting his phone mid date to set everything ablaze. what started out as a night full of affection and genuine laughs had turned into a night of passive aggression and displayed anger by the slamming on inanimate objects. “that’s all it takes now, a random ass number to pull this shit out of you again? bet, say less.”
