Vale Alpha 0.5.2 Patch Notes
Players were out-scaling monsters too hard and with the new balance changes, were defeating them too easily.
-Increased monster scaling and base damage
-Decreased gold income slighty
-Added in the ability to toggle the game speed with Tab (Normal, 1.5x, 2x)
-Added in corresponding keys for actions.
Q/W/E/R --Respective Options/Skills with 4 Choices (Except on Title as those options are not set yet)
1/2/3/4/5/6 --Buy respective shop items in shop.
1/2 --Use Health Potion/Mana Potion
Shift --Toggle Full-Screen
Space --Skip Intro and Story
The Warrior had little options outside of his auto attacks and Double Strike. I have made his others skills more satisfying and rewarding to use
-Bash Cooldown reduced to 2 from 4
-Bash Mana cost reduced to 15 from 30
-Bull Charge health cost is down to 10% from 20% while still dealing 20%. Now also deals an additional (Current Experience) in damage
-Block Mana reduced to 5 from 10
The Mage was relatively strong in terms of early and late power but the Meditate was just not usable and the Barrier was slightly too strong.
-Barrier amount toned down slightly
-Healing on meditate increased drastically and Mana cost reduced to 20 from 40
-Cap Slime damage scaling so the Slime cannot scale indefinitely
-Cap Treant's healing so it cannot heal indefinitely
-Fixed bug where Treant can outheal its maximum health
-Fixed bug slime was doing less damage as health got lower rather than doing more
-Fixed bug where muting sound from the title would freeze the Vs. Screen
-Fixed bug you can't try again twice after defeat
-Fixed bug where shop would sometimes freeze upon re-entering
-Fixed bug where monsters would deal negative damage
-Fixed bug where the numbers of battles would increase by 2 each time rather than 1
-Fixed corpse positioning
-Mage laser scaling lowered slightly in return for higher base damage
-Mage heal increased further
-Mage Combust damage is now more reliant on enemy health
-Hydra damaged nerfed (I overdid it with the scaling)
