Sirius was looking forward to hanging out with Lily for the day. Post Hogwarts there wasn’t a lot of free time to be had, but Sirius was grateful that little time he had was often spent with his friends. Their friendship had been rather unexpected, but she had become an undeniably important person in his life. Sirius considered her to be one of his best friends, and that was something he had never foreseen happening when he was younger. A day out was exactly what he needed, and Sirius was glad to be able to mosey around the more muggle areas. Since getting out from his parents thumb, Sirius had taken to exploring the muggle cities with Lily. Unsurprisingly, he’d found them to be truly enjoyable.
With a pair of straight leg jeans, a blue loose v-neck, and his sneakers, Sirius figured he was ready to go when Lily got here. Tucking his wallet and wand away, he bounded down the stairs and grabbed a coke out of the fridge while he waited. He wasn’t sure which muggle city they were going to today, but that was half the fun of it all. Hearing the knock on the door, Sirius set the empty in the bin and headed towards the foyer. Opening the door he gave her a bright grin, “Hey, Red,” he greeted, stepping back to let her inside. “So, where are we going today?”
