The larger a Vileplume's petals, the more pollen it contains.

Its head is very heavy and hard to hold up.

Vileplume spreads pollen in three ways, by its bud bursting (which it does with a band) and scattering its pollen, by walking which causes the pollen to fall out with every step, or by flapping its flower petals which causes the pollen to scatter in the wind, and it typically uses the third option after it attracts prey with its petals so that it can immobilize the prey and eat it.

Vileplume has the world's largest petals out of any Pokemon and plant.

Vileplume's pollen can trigger terrible allergy responses when someone breathes only some of it in, but in seasons when Vileplume produces more pollen, it will be surrounded by large clouds of yellow, and breathing these in can cause paralysis.
