Lou was excited at the idea of her new friend Evangeline coming over to watch a series of movies with her. She didn't have people over often, at least people she didn't really know. But the girl was kind and seemed unassuming and inviting, so Lou really didn't think she had anything to fear by asking her over to view some cinematic masterpieces. Setting up wasn't too difficult, it mostly involved ordering a pizza, finding as much candy and sugar as possible and opening up Netflix on her television. Yes, she stole her aunt's password, though she knew that Madeline wouldn't mind. Especially as there was only her on that account, so it would never be overdrawn from too many people viewing at one time. Okay, and yes, she gave the password to Scarlett and Roo, but honest, that was only four people. And unless they gave it out to ten others--which they promised they wouldn't--she really didn't think it'd be an issue
It was a lovely afternoon, stunning and hazy in all it's sunshine and heat. It was exactly as every other day hadn't been since the Hurricane. So she reveled in the beauty of it all, but didn't hesitate to turn on her fans and shut the windows. She didn't want her new friend to be uncomfortable when she finally did come over. Lou was never great at being patient and waiting, every moment was filled with anticipation for the future. What would happen? What would they watch? What kind of shenanigans would they get into, possibly silly ones? And Evangeline was a musician, like her, maybe they'd bond over that. Maybe they'd even do some duets or a trio. How cool would that be? Her and Shiloh had been working on an album for a long time now, and any different feature or collaboration would help. But she was getting ahead of herself, she needed to stop thinking and planning and just sit and finally open the candy she had been dying to all day. Hopefully Evangeline would get here before Lou had devoured it all.
