"James?" Cris asked when he looked up to see a face from his past.  After Bond had quit MI6, disappeared into the civilian world with Madeleine, Cris had given up on MI6 as well.  There was nothing there for him and he had more than enough money to open his bookshop.  He tendered his resignation and opened The Quill, a small shop in central London.  It was unassuming and dark, but he loved it all the same.  Never once did he think James Bond of all people would walk into it.

"I didn't know you were back in London.  It's been, what?  Two years?"

"You hear we're getting a new doctor?" 003 asked, brushing a few strands of blonde back from her face, wolf ear twitching stop her head. "We are? Heh, wonder how long it'll take Bond and Trevelyan to chase this one off." 004 laughed. They all know they Alpha and Beta of the pack scared off every doctor that came in. The sloth, the cat, lynx, even the eagle girl. "I heard Q knows them." 002 added, making a card castle on the table with long deft fingers. "Really?" The other two agents asked, Q had recommended someone not for his department? "What's the kit thinking? He's going to lose friends that way." "Just don't tell Alpha, he'll take it as a personal challenge."

To Merge Land

Everyone knew the young Laird was ready for a mate, or at least his uncle and family were ready for him to have one. Letters had come from all corners of Scotland, ships and horses arriving to show off their Omega sons and daughters in the hopes to merge land and marry them off. All the typical Scottish Omega, head strong but knowing to listen to Alphas and knew their places. It was something Arias mother had been watching second hand through letters from her sisters in the young Lairds lands. @james-mackenzie-fraser

Aria sighed softly, brushing out her hair slowly, adjusting the collar around her neck. It was a gift they called out when she woke up with it on her. One on her neck, one wrapped around the tip of her tail. To prevent her from escaping as much as to keep her compliant.

"Two minutes Aria." Her...keeper...informed her from the speaker below the water.

She sighed again and drifted to the gate that was her entrance to the main cavern, since waking up from a bad storm she'd been subjected to experiments until she agreed to do shows. Education they said, to answer questions and demonstrate for the humans. It kept her away from experiments at least.

The gate opened and she out of a small smile as she exited her small space for the bigger cavern and the glass window. Her bright hair flowing around her as she swam to her usual rock and took her seat, long tail shimmering with reds and oranges down to wisps on fins at the sides and down to the long fins frommthe second collar, bright orange with red veins. Humans were strange, the little ones always looking at her in awe, especially the females, the older people too. Males had...different looks, and they made her wear a scrap of cloth across her chest. Strange creatures.

Another World

Aria sighed softly as she watched the humans from the jagged rocks nearby. No one ever ventured to her hiding spot because of the danger, which meant it was a perfect place to just hide and observe. She'd done it a lot, just...watching. She'd been fairly depressed since leaving her pod and life behind, since taking one glance above the water, since rescuing the human that fell from an eel that moved (train...it was a train, remember that.) since all of that, life was just...sad. She couldn't go on the land, couldn't help anyone more than bringing them to shore and hoping for the best, couldn't go back to her old life. She'd tried, she was shunned. Chased away like she was diseased. So now..she just watched, letting herself just fade in an in-between life in the Thames.

Aria whimpered quietly, pressing her face to his neck and weakly held his shirt. She made soft sounds, squeaks, but no words

Dangerous Waters

Aria smiled at her family, sharpening her nails with a bit of coral. Her red scales shimmered in the bit of bright light above the ocean floor. The other hunters were checking their own nails or snarling the young calves that would be joining them. It was a great time in a young mermaids life to join the hunt, the sign they were no longer a calf. Aria looked up in time to catch her calf as he barreled into her, laughing she held the little calf close and brushed a kiss to his hair. Her mate watched on indulgently, green tailed and handsome, he'd been a good match for her and their calf was just lovely. Shame he was female but she still loved him all the same. "I'll be back don't worry, mind your father." She told her calf gently, taking him to her mate. The two touching foreheads like most others in the community. She did the same to her calf and left them with the hunters. None knew they'd never see the community again alive.
