When Seel dives beneath the water, its nostrils close, and when it needs to breathe, it uses the hard horn on its head to bash through thick ice to reach the surface.

Seel love freezing conditions, being especially active from around -40 to 14 degrees Fahrenheit, and it can stand this cold because of its fur and thick fat.

Seel may not be able to walk well on land, but it is a graceful swimmer.

Seel live on icebergs, but during the day they can often be found asleep on the seabed in shallow waters.

Though Seel love cold seas and get tired in warm waters, they are sometimes found in Alola splashing about in the waters.
