Ok, so, I really liked The Devil Wears Prada 2 😬
I have to say tho, I was expecting Andy to be a bit more mature (?) I guess. Cause even knowing how Miranda's personality is, she was still fishing for compliments from her after releasing that first article even if that piece did not resolve the problem or made even a significant dent.
Honestly, Andy's personality did not change. The only notable thing actually might be that she went from "victim syndrome" to "hero syndrome" (if that makes sense). But she's still a badass that gets shit done.
Miranda, Nigel and Emily are still iconic.
I was really happy that Miranda seemed to have a loving partner during this movie. On the first one she was really unhappy.
And Andy's love interest was such a contrast compared to the boyfriend from the first movie, he could communicate!!! Happy for her.
Emily's story was a bit of a surprise for me but I do understand how it came to that, after 20 years y'know.
I wish we could a have bit more insight on Nigel and Miranda's relationship since he stayed by her side this whole time.
Also, the overall plot being their situation as a group instead of Andy's situation alone was really nice to see, and the subtle "fuck AI" did not go unnoticed 🙂↕️ (at least I hope that's what that was)
There are more things of course but I don't want to spoil too much. Overall it was a good sequence for such an iconic movie like the first one
