Honestly, I find a lot of benefit on reading, as much as possible, on child psychology. Not to, like, the nth degree. But there might be a certain thing… Say there’s something you want to get across, maybe not at 2 [years-old], but maybe by the time she’s 4, or something. Speaking the language of a kid is quite nuanced, and you want to deliver it a certain way. And I’ve often found a lot of credibility just reading on what’s the right thing to say, in that regard. ‘Cus I remember hearing something as a kid and thinking, “Oh just fuck off, I’ve got it.”

There's still an element of a little bit of a point to prove. I don't want to just be here for a couple of years, I want to stay around. So that’s what keeps me inspired. Also, I really struggle with the concept of complacency, which is a luxury that benefits me, definitely. I’ve never been a very complacent person. Especially at the moment, the way things are going, and the shows we’re putting on. This is already far exceeded my expectations when I first started out as a solo artist. It’s just about trying to get bigger and better all the time.
