Song of the Day
I missed sharing music && actually blogging about each piece. Whilst at IG, I shared loads of music in my stories, but I hardly ventured outside of the 15 seconds to provide an annecdote or contextual information.
Bless Tumblr.
The theme for this last week of January will be womxn. I have come across so much beautiful music by womxn that deserve more recognition && followers on their music channels. Let's start, yeah?
In the beforetimes, I had the opportunity to see a fantastic Seattle born && LA raised character: Alison Sudol. Given their love for William Shakespeare's A midsummer night's dream, Sudol adopted a line from the play && goes by A Fine Frenzy (Act V, Scene 1). Whilst her Spotify tunes are crisp, calming && lovely, her lively versions were raw, energetic, && at times odd in their composition. After all, Alison used different arrangements with offbeat timing to make the crowd lose their step, stop && reconsider like with the song, ICU.
You should check that track out.
Here's one about mental health that metaphorically demontrates in the music video apathy, disassociation, etc. Enjoy it :)
Monday na monday tangina. Ayoko na.

Who would ever love a very complicated person like me?
No one I guess.
Huh. Ok.
