maybe he doesn’t want to hurt you because he knows himself and that’s not a bad thing. would you rather him lie to you? just to make things easier? no, i don’t think you would. i think that’s a part of his appeal to you. why he’s so magnetizing. the fact that he doesn’t give you what you want because he’s holding back on causing more pain— it’s kinda sad. it makes you want him more. but i think you’re both in a good place. at least he cares about you like a decent human being.
