I try not to post anything political here but as a Tintin fan I enjoyed this recent cover by Morten Morland for The Spectator. The interior article is on on the subject of events in France (not Hergé's Belgium) around pension reforms. The cover image homages the familiar sight of Tintin and Snowy running in a spotlight. In the background there are Captain Haddock and Professor Calculus type figures and the Gallic Rooster is in place of Snowy. The Macron figure (with his watch prominently displayed - it 'mysteriously' disappeared from his wrist during a recent televised interview) tries to blend Morland's own art style with that of Hergé. Two nice touches are the 'plus fours' (which Tintin wore in nearly all his adventures) and the Tintin title font at the bottom which is what drew my attention in the first place.
