Technically, we can't answer this question because there is no such thing as Earth! That being said, old stories about the Second Timeline referred to it as "Earth" prior to the return of cats from that timeline (such as Captain of Saturn and Signora of Uranus) and the studies that formulated Divergent Timeline Theory. Er. Anyway the point is that we, DELTA, had no involvement in the Second Timeline or "Earth's" destruction and thus couldn't have prevented it.
