update on life amidst the corona
My friends and I are planning to go to Intramuros to unwind. We are burdened by academic responsibilities and it is burning us out. However, I am concerned on the mode of transportation that we will be taking. We either will take grab (expensive fare though) or take jeep and LRT. We are leaning more on the latter option but it really scares me to ride the jeep. There is no social distancing in jeeps and hands come in contact. It’s so bizarre. I really don’t want to ride it but we have no other option. My family and I would always take grab to go to the mall so it was okay for me--there was no hassle or anything. I fear that taking public transpo will expose me to the virus, making me wish I’d never went outside. But life should not stop. I’m torn in between waiting for life to start again and not letting the virus stop my life. The thing is that the virus will not go away soon. Our country is in deep shit and I’m not counting on it to extinguish the virus any time soon. It would be nice to experience the historical moment that is presently happening. I want to document everything for memories.
