not to be That Feminist™️ but i think i’m gonna challenge myself to not shave my legs this year.

not as a protest or whatever, but as a way to put myself outside of my comfort zone. to not let people’s words and judgements affect me or my decisions. my hair doesn’t bother me, so i shouldn’t feel like i HAVE to shave it just to avoid ridicule.

this isn’t to say i’m never shaving ever again, but just as an experiment to be more comfortable with my body.

the worst that can happen is people making fun of me, but their words can only affect me if i let them.

Life's tough in many ways, but keeping feelings to yourself will always feel like a burden. They all say, let it out, Speak up. But it will never be that easy..For the heart is weak, and it sometimes thinks silence is the best answer..
