This morning I wrote a response to an article outlining the various gazes applied to National Geographic images. I concluded that they are constructed primarily for a western audience, and provide little context or credit to the subject. The photographer however is listed, among his/her credentials and achievements. I drank coffee and ate rice crackers with peanuts. Later on in Middle English I was taught of the Harley Lyrics and the overlapping of genres and meaning they portray. I ate dates, edited a video, then spoke of my response in class. This afternoon at work I must unpack an order of denim and clean shelves. Tonight I plan on devouring shepherds pie, taking a long hot shower, and watching New Girl in bed, avoiding all human interaction.

I’m overwhelmed and I need to be alone. People are just too much, and I really wish they would leave me be.
