Recognition Day today. I woke up and felt so not ready for the event to come. Plus, mom wasn't around because she went off to get her hair fixed for the recognition. She came home and we just crammed to prepare especially because Ate and I were loving Angelina Jolie's movie, Wanted. Mom's friend came with her granddaughter and I was a bit flabbergasted because we did not think that she would still come with us. We went off with her husband's van but dropped off to go our own way. When we got to school, I did some errands first and then went to the gym where I saw Joyce and then we waited for our classmates to come. I also asked her to accompany me upstage to give Ms. Ortiz my medal. I saw Ms. Atienza first and told her she looked beautiful and she just said thank you in a very cute way. Vernin was around early but he did not show us his tattoos then JC was with his bag, still, and Elmo was wearing a cardigan because he thought the weather would still be as cool as yesterday's. Jobelle came by not long after and went immediately to hug Joyce and cried. It was just awkward. Our classmates gradually arrived and we were told to fall jn line already. I saw Carla in hindsight and thought she was a new student which was a stupid thought and realized she just had her hair straightened! It was so cool. Klaire also got her hair dyed and Jelyn as well who was really, really, neat and beautiful. We marched to our seats and I just felt cool especially because the teachers along the way were awesome. When we were on our seats, the first five of us on the outstanding list were asked if we were to take the scholarship, we all refused it for we already have plans. Therefore, it landed on Yana who would stay at Canossa, pretty rad. Service awards were given first so I had to go upstairs for my certificate for being an SKC staffer. Ate was the one to accompany me on stage. Unfortunately, we had to wait because everybody should be called first before the certificates should be given. We were called second so we had to wait longer and it was getting tiring and awkward. I was so relieved when it was done. Contest awards were the ones given next and I had to go on stage again to receive a few medals and certificates. Mom joined me this time and when our picture was being taken, one of my certificates fell lol. There was this intermission number by a teacher who sang The Climb and she was pretty good but all I could think of was that I miss Miley. After that number, there was a quiet chantig of my name and I kinda probably flushed for it was too embarassing, I was telling them it was inappropriate but I found it funny. Next was the Academic awards where we just adored Ariana's father, so fine. I also found it funny when all of us were to fall in line and my classmates sighed in relief that they finally got to stand up after a long time; their butts ached they said. Czina had to wait for her mom to got up because she was busy and it was too funny to watch. Mom talked to Carla's parents about our future plans and all, it felt familiar. When I was called on stage, my classmates were wildly clapping and it was just so overwhelming, I love them so much. We all joked about the gifts given to the staff for their recognitions; joked that Ms. Dory's was an aquarium, and that Ms. Mel was upset that she did not receive the one wrapped in violet paper. When Ms. Mel was called for she was working their for 30 years already, we decided to stand up and clap for her. She became one my dearest moms in the school and I would miss her so much. After the program, of course, photo shoots were up. Cameras here and there, it was really fun. Before we went home, we looked for Ms. O because it was her birthday. Some of us didn't greet her because we had a bit of a surprise for her. Once we found her, we sang Happy Birthday and then gave her this little jar Jobelle made with our messages swirled up inside. I saw Ms. got a bit teary eyed because she probably thought we really forgot about her birthday. Hell, I wish we could have done better. After that, I went with my friends to ask permissions to some of our classmates' parents for our swimming tomorrow. Allyson's was a bit intense but we finally got her father to allow her, we were so persistent. We also asked Trixie's mom who was reluctant but allowed her still. I then went off to SM with Ate, Mom and her friend. The tricycle we have ridden was pretty cool. Not the tricycle itself, the driver lol. He was talking to me a lot. When we were stuck in traffic, he was telling me about his son who was studying at the same school I'm in. He was also asking stuff about me and my future plans, specifically if I am going to stay in Canossa. He was even suggesting schools! He was so fun to talk to. He dropped us off and I thanked him, he was very nice. We went to McDonald's for snacks and then since I wanted sisig, Ate and I went to Ton Ton's for a take out. I was pretty hyped up when we had it. We went to the supermarket after to buy stuffs but mainly Sola. We went home not long after that. Traffic was a pain in the ass, I would never get used to it. Also, I was chatting with Uncle Joel at that time. He was to send money for my reservation for UST and kinda lectured me about my plans which I found hilarious. I miss my uncles home so much. Especially the twins, hay. Anyway we got home and pretty much chilled. However, I was stressed out by the plans for the swimming tomorrow. It was fun though, especially the Math I did lol. Now, I am so hung in the cliff because I just started watching the second season of How To Get Away With Murder. I kissed Oliver and Connor though. I hope everything goes well and fine on our fun time tomorrow. Great day ahead! Yay!
