Numel is very dull and slow-witted, it barely ever notices when it gets hit.

Numel cannot stand being hungry for even a second.

Inside a Numel's hump is a stored amount of magma that is kept at around 2,200 degrees Fahrenheit, and it is a source of great power for Numel, but whenever a Numel uses this fire its hump will shrink.

Should Numel get wet or too cold, the magma in its hump will cool and harden, making the Pokemon heavier and slugish.

Numel have been serving humans for a long time, as they're capable of transporting loads up to 220 pounds.
