hi! yes! i love seonhwa!!

i like to believe that mi-hwa has severe abandonment and an anxious attachment style. i feel like she relies more heavily on others emotionally and spiritually, which is how she clung to seon-nyeo so easily. perhaps she dabbled in a bit of spirituality before the games, and connected herself with seon-nyeo over that, seeing her as a good trustworthy leader.

meanwhile, seon-nyeo holds the firm belief of destiny and fate, how things play out the way they're meant to, and holds a high value in a religious version of the just-world phenomenon. things happen for a reason, karma, etc etc. she wouldn't get too attached to mi-hwa, seeing her as expendable and knowing that her fate is pre-decided by the gods. i do think she would be flattered by the support, however, considering we can inference seon-nyeo sees herself quite highly. (shamans are seen as intermediary messengers for the gods and can see spirits, etc.)

i also hc seon-nyeo as aromantic! soooo unrequited toxic yuri indeed :]
