A less then joyful meeting

Liang wasn’t sure why he’d gotten slapped with this duty, maybe it was paranoia but he got a creeping feeling that there might of been some darker reason behind it but really what could it be? Sure he’d heard the guy could use quigong but just being out of being ripped open and having all but the most vital things ripped from him he doubted he’d be in any position to attack him.

Really the only reason anyone was charged with standing guard is, sadly for the poor guy if he didn’t pull though or took even the slightest turn south he’d be ripped back open for what remained inside him before it could start to ‘turn bad’ when he died, in the underground organ trade it seemed freshness was key and made Liang glade he couldn’t use it.

He’d felt a little guilty, he still wasn’t sure how he didn’t know 15 had gotten out of his cell and out of building 13 but if he hadn’t gotten passed him none of this would of happened. Luckily the warden hadn’t heard about it out of the kindness of Samon’s heart. He’d heard Upa had a cactus so with some free time he’d had that night he’d made him a little gift. Trusting Yamato and the new guard Lucas he’d taken a quick trip over to building five and had Inori show him to Upa’s cell to drop it off.

“I’m going to wipe that smug smile off your face. There’s a good reason why I look like this, but you don’t deserve to know.”

And in that instant, upon seeing that blue glow, his smile, his joking, it was all gone. “Hey...come on I was just joking.” he said, backing up. “I didn’t mean to actually upset you.” he was freaking out. Could his blades cut though a chi attack? “Look man I’m real sorry I was just trying to piss off the guard.”

To long, it had been to long. Everything had started to blur, the sounds, the voices, his own thoughts. Poor Upa just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time when it became to much. He dark laugh escaped the guard’s throat at hearing the surprised gasp. He let Upa stagger back, letting the blood drip off the knife for a moment. If Upa where to check after that moment though the wound would be gone, no blood or injury remained. “Oh I’m no one just a guard~”
