🚔 — have they ever broken the law?
on numerous occasions, actually. mostly when kai was homeless and living back in london. he used to party a lot for one, which included illegal substances more often than not, and then there was the shoplifting, and the public indecency. he was put in jail a few nights when he started fights at pubs to “dry out and calm down”, but he’s never done any serious time.
🎹 — do they play any instruments?
yes! kai plays a couple instruments. his one true love, the reason he exists today, is the piano though. there’s just something about him when he’s got his fingers on the ivories that seems to almost shift his entire being. like, i can’t emphasize enough how important it is to him, and how much it means. it’s sort of like the only way he can actually communicate without things feeling like they got lost in translation. he also plays the guitar, but nowhere near to that extent.
💤 — do they like sleeping in or waking up early?
kai is an early bird. he never sleeps very long, and he rises with the sun. his favorite time of day is when he can climb out onto his fire escape and watch dawn break.
🕕 — the longest they’ve ever been awake
close to five days, and only due to trauma he experienced beforehand. being attacked in an alleyway by some random stranger you’re rather certain is going to kill you kinda doesn’t make for easy resting. eventually, he passed out from exhaustion, though.
🔎 — random detail about them
he absolutely hates socks, and will angrily refer to them as ‘foot prisons’ if anyone so much as suggests he wear them. it makes for very cold feet during the winters, honestly.
💢 — something other’s do that gets on their nerves
this sounds a little weird, but something that really gets on his nerves is when people crack their knuckles. like the sound just gets under his skin and makes him cringe.
