as predicted, that episode was a huge discredit to 5 seasons worth of relationship development 😪 realistically I knew there wasn’t a way for Amy and Jonah to stay together. a long distance relationship wouldn’t have made sense if it didn’t ever show him talking to her. I knew that, but still, I hoped they’d pull something off.
it just felt so fucking rushed. sudden. forced. I don’t have any negative feelings towards America leaving if that’s what is best for her, but god I wish they could have ramped up to a breakup that made sense instead of having it happen in the course of one fucking episode. again, 5 seasons worth of development gone in the span of a single episode.
