So my physio thinks I will be able to return to athletics after all!!! She thinks we can manage my chronic injury + return to a full training load. So I don’t have to say goodbye to athletics and I’m just so so happy that perhaps this part of my life isn’t over yet ^-^ 

It’s just crazy bcz before I fractured my ankle I was in the process of retiring, and if I hadn’t fractured it then I wouldn’t have met my new physio, and I’d still not have realised I don’t have to quit. That said, I am a bit scared because it’s been 2 years now since I’ve been able to run like I used to, and there is a part of me that is kind of sick of it and maybe just wants to let go before another injury comes along. But this time around, I’m going to take it slowly. I’m going to take care of my body better and just appreciate any running I can do.
