06.28.16 // Tuesday
Today, I woke up around 12pm. Got ready and headed to the postal office with mom and Cin to renew our passport. Literally the postal office people were so rude. They have no right for being so. Any who, after all that, went home, had my mango and then got ready again to go pick up Karen, and Christina so we could go drop off Amielle at the airport for her flight to Chicago. Ive flew home today too! After, we headed to Hula Mama’s for Hawaiian food. It was pretty good! But the duded working there tho... he kept making staring over at our table. He was really cute lmao. Went for dessert at Rasped Xperts. Got a snow cone with passion fruit, guava, and condensed milk. Tell me why Karen got elote when we were supposed to get sweets -.- Went home after that, ran, and now just gonna drown myself in youtube vids.

For the sake of healing and not getting Mama mad, I woke up by 7 again to have breakfast. After that, I wanted to sleep again but I watched the pilot episode of the twelfth season of KUWTK first because missed them and then I just let the food down, digested it a bit and then lied down on my stomach. In no time, I dozed off again. I remember waking up once to help Papa with his job application then I went back to sleep. I was just waken up again to have lunch. Papa was about to have his Skype interview by the afternoon so I thought he was totally unnerved and he just couldn't chill until he was totes prepared. So after lunch, he set up his laptop while Mama and I stayed in the living room. Basically, we waited with him but it was taking too long Papa almost shut the computer down. Good thing he waited some more. When he's interviewer was there and the process started, I was watching OITNB and Mama bought bread for us. The interview was just quick and it wasn't much of a help. Anyway, after eating, I took a looooooooong shower and then when I was done, I stayed in the living room with Mama and Papa, while catching up with my group chats and then we had dinner. After that, I stayed in the living room more before I went to the room, brushed my teeth, watched an episode of OITNB, and watched YouTube vids of Publizity (HILARIOUS). Anyway, a chill day and I am so loving my long nails.
Gratitude
This is my last week of unemployment before I rejoin the workforce next Tuesday :) I’m both excited and nervous, but overall, I am grateful.
I am grateful for having found a job that offers me the opportunity to learn new and challenging things. For almost 17 years I worked in the technical industry and now I get to work in the health and medical industry.
I am grateful to my family and friends. They have always been there for me and offered words of encouragement during those times when I was feeling my worst after I was laid off from my last job.
I’m grateful to my former employer because if I wasn’t laid off, I would not have had the opportunity to find this new job.
Most of all I’m grateful for my faith which has helped to keep me focused on the positive and the present.
