So we did seating arrangement and daaaaym so close but so far away! I'm talking about 'that' guy btw and our surname both starts at m but unfortunately we're no seatmates and he's not even seating within my row. He was seated 4 people after me, i was at the isle and he was at the side wall. Daaang! We were groupmates at Philo class and fuck he talked to me! We did a groupchat for the work and guess what? --- he confessed that he sees this certain girl at class (in my row and duuude its not me and i know her) with "something special" kinda thingy. Why.

June 12th • Rest day for me, ahhhhh! We weren’t able to visit tatay dahil buong maghapong naglaba si nanay. Night shift pa naman ang duty niya kinabukasan kaya siya na lang ang bibisita sa kanya. Hay. I miss Tatay. We also attended the Holy Mass. Sobrang namiss ko si G!!!!!

June 13th • Chill pa ang lola mo dahil wala pang masyadong emails na dumarating sa'min since it’s still Sunday in the other side of the world. But I continued to finish the other files. Kawawa na talaga yung mata ko na buong araw na nakatingin sa monitor.

First day of school for my younger brothers. Hinatid ni nanay si Andrei, who’s in his Senior Year already. Malayo na kasi ang school niya kaya tuturuan muna siya ni nanay kung paano pumunta ng school, kung ano ang sasakyan para kaya na niya sa mga susunod na araw. Malalaki na talaga ang mga kapatid ko. :)

June 14th • FCK YEAH I FINISHED THE MASTERLIST ALREADY!!!! Ilang araw rin akong tutok na tutok sa screen ng monitor matapos lang yun. UGH! SAYA! At least kukunti na lang talaga, kunting copy paste, matatapos na siya.

I was about to go out from work already nang may natanggap akong email. It was from our partner in China. They need the document as soon as possible dahil may appointment ang aplikante nila na mag-i-internship sa amin kinabukasan sa embassy. I don’t have any idea kung ano ang format ng certificate na hinihingi niya dahil di naman ako ang may hawak ng program na yun. Good thing Ms. Faye was still around. She helped me to scan for old documents na may ganoong format. Thank God we found one. After two hours, natapos namin! Late na tuloy kaming nakauwi. Mag-aalas nwebe na nang nakarating ako ng bahay.

Kailangan ko pang maglakad papuntang sakayan. While walking may nakasalubong ako na lalaki. I was so shocked with what he did. He soaked his feet into the dirty water tapos hinugasan niya rin ang kamay niya. Akala ko nga babasain niya ko. Sobrang bilis ko tuloy maglakad. Kulang na lang tumakbo ako. Nang medyo nakalayo na ko, may nakasalubong na naman ako. Dude! Ang lapitin ko talaga sa mga baliw. But I can handle myself. Para saan pa ang pinag-aralan ko. I was able to go home safe and sound.

June 15th • I needed to wake up extra early because my brothers are going to school. Wala kasi si nanay, she’s on a night duty kaya ako ang responsable sa mga kapatid ko (for today only loljk). But, I was still too lazy to get out to bed. I even told my younger brother na hugasan muna ang pagsasaingan while I’m still laying in bed, half asleep tapos ako na ang magsasaing but it end up him doing what I just said. Grabe yung antok friend. Charot.

I decided to get my lazy ass since I still need to wash my jeans. Sobra na ang pagtitiis ko sa pagsuot ng mga formal na pencil skirts. It’s really not my thing. Except when I really need to at depende sa mood ko. After all the chores, I went to the office and work the whole day. Tss, boring life of yours truly.

June 16th • Nanay already ironed our clothes last night kaya di ko na kailangan mamalantsa. Yihee. What would I do without nanay.

Well, I’m happy that I was able to go home early today. We also had a sumptous dinner tonight. Nakakamiss ang isaw! Pati ang BBQ! Thank you, Lord for the blessings!

so i think a real breakthrough happened today because for once, i felt really proud of my body, my muscles, my strength, and just everything. we were discussing at PAA that it isn't about how you look at the end of a workout (because many of them want abs), but it's about how you feel and the progress that you make every time you strengthen your body and participate in a work out. i'm able to do so much more than i ever imagined, even despite my size and whatnot. i am beautiful. and proud. and wow this might be a wonderful summer of growth and strength. i'm excited now!

Noticing that some folks, out of pure assimilation to their oppressors, will not get mad.

Fine, do what you gotta do to get paid, to cozy up the ladder, but don’t condemn activists striving for equity so ALL of us, not just YOU, get some time in the sun.

I understand assimilation as a survival tactic, I understand networking and not making enemies, and ultimately getting food in your tummy and a warm bed.

But just because YOU are safe or are okay with your treatment doesn’t mean it’s okay to attempt to silence the voices of those that acknowledge and fight against the difference between equity and garbage disposal scraps.
