Pregnancy Update 2.0

So!

Lost my plug literally 10 minutes before leaving for my ob apt, and it turns out that I'm 1-2cm dilated so that's good news. Baby is still head down and his heartbeat is still strong and steady, so that's also very good. My ob has us booked in to be induced on Thursday morning, I'm nervous and excited.

He did say that losing the plug, the dilation, and the crampy contractions I've been having are all good signs. It means my body is at least trying to get things started on it's own, which could help the induction succeed this time.

Adam is putting the baby car seat in the car, my mom knows we need her here around 7am on Thursday to watch Jackie, and most of our laundry is done.

Things are looking up, just need to finish packing tonight, and make sure I have the supplies set up upstairs for our first day home.

Pregnancy Update

In baby news: still no baby.

It's officially my due date, and this kid is just as stubborn as his brother by the looks of it. Today at the OB the dr is going to do the check again (ugh) and see if we've progressed, and then we're going to pick an induction date. I'm still hoping for VBAC, but I know I'll have to be induced either way. The only upside to this is that I'll have a solid date when we 100% will have baby. I'm hoping they won't make me wait the full 10 days, honestly that just sounds like an eternity.

The plan for after my apt is to finish up the hospital bags, I thought I had more of Jacks stuff washed than I actually do so I need to go through the laundry downstairs and do a load specifically for him. If we manage a VBAC then he'll only be at my parents for one night, but if we have to do the c-section then I need almost a weeks worth of clothes. I'm packing the weeks worth just in case, otherwise my parents will have to drive all the way out here to get more.
